Fate’s Fables is a Favorite

Loved it. T. Rae Mitchell has taken our love for fairy tales and put a spin on the idea by intertwining her main characters into the fate of each fable. As a lover of fairy tales, I was intrigued throughout the whole book. Not your typical YA novel, Fate’s Fables covers everything from wicked old hags, to dashing young men and of course, a troll. With eight different stories for Fate to make into happy endings, the reader will never get bored. The story is not just about the fables though, Fate finds herself and her true power as a writer. She also learns that there can be dire consequences to getting what you want if you don’t plan carefully. Prepare yourself for love, war, passion, desire and even death as you open the Book of Fables and get sucked into this adventure. This will easily become one of my favorites. Can’t wait to read the next one!
